Lavonda Mayers

Lavonda “Peaches” Mayers age 51 of Columbia, SC passed quietly on Sunday November 21st. Lavonda was born and raised in Columbia SC, she was a graduate of Eau Claire High School class of 89. Lavonda had many talents in which she mastered the art of cooking and catering.

Lavonda accepted Jesus Christ as her savior at a young age and found joy in worshiping and praising God through all of life’s trials and she truly enjoyed praying for others. Lavonda also enjoyed spending time nurturing her beloved grandbabies.

Preceded in death by her parents Patricia Mayers and Glennah Hart.

She is survived by her sons, Jeremiah Burns, Joshua Burns (Cierra) and daughter Danielle Burns. Two grandsons, Kingston and Moses who she affectionately called Chunkman and Poodah along with a beautiful grand-daughter Jalia. She also leaves to cherish her memories her brother, Jason Evans and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends that will all miss her dearly.

Those who know Lavonda know that she never liked to make a fuss with being the center of attention and per her wishes there will be no services.
