Mr. Larry Flournoy (Larry) was born October 1, 1960, in Brooklyn, NY with his siblings. He then moved to Walterboro in 1969 and later relocated to Columbia, SC where he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He departed his earthly life on November 22, 2021.
At birth he was a member of the United House of Prayer and when he got older became a deacon. After completing high school, he went on to attend Midlands Technical College and College of Charleston.
He married his late wife, Gail Flournoy (Bing) and started his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elder Joseph, and Martha Flournoy (Johnson); his wife, Gail Flournoy (Bing) and his older brother, Elder Joseph Flournoy, Jr.
Left to cherish precious memories are his son, Bryan Christopher (Jaquetta Lashay Purdie) Flournoy; brother, Bruce Kelvin Flournoy; sister, Gwendolyn Marie Flournoy; sister-in law, Linda White Flournoy; nieces, LaKesia N.
