Latasha M. Praylow Brunson was born on September 12, 1975, in Richland County, South Carolina. She departed this earthly life for eternal life with the Lord on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, South Carolina.
“Tasha”, as she was affectionately called by family and friends, was educated in the public school system of Richland School District One where she graduated from C. A. Johnson High School, Class of 1993.
She was united in holy matrimony to Joseph Mario Brunson Jr., on July 23, 2005, and to their union, two children were born, Trevon and Debbie “Monique”.
Prior to her health declining, she worked as a cashier at Bojangles. She enjoyed reading, cooking, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.
Latasha loved the Lord and was a member of Tabernacle Holiness Church where she was baptized and served faithfully for over 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Debbie J. Praylow; grandmother, Lenora Praylow; and her son, Davon Praylow; grandparents, Harry (Mary) Brunson and Lindsay (Geneva) Washington.
Those who are cherishing fond and precious memories of Latasha are her loving and devoted husband of 21 years, Joseph Mario Brunson Jr.; loving sons, Benjamin Mitchell and Trevon Brunson; her loving daughter, Debbie Brunson; one granddaughter, father, James Lewis of Hopkins, SC; father-in-law, Bishop Joseph (Linda) Brunson; sister, Valerie D. Praylow Simmons; brothers, Jamie (Tiona G.) Praylow and Kenneth (Keosha) D. Praylow; uncles, Earl Praylow (Roxanne Thompson), Bernard Praylow, Nathaniel (Lee) Brunson, Charles (Shelia) Washington, Michael (Gloria) Washington, Eddie (Lori) Washington and Matthew Washington; aunts, Debra Timmons, Veronica Praylow, Betty (Barrington) Pierson, Marilyn (Timothy) Vaughn, Patricia (Leroy) Pierson, Melinda (Larry) China, Yvonne (Marcel) Sams, and Yvette (Lorenzo) Vaughn; sister-in-law, Calandra (Henry) Witherspoon; brothers-in-law, Antonio (LaSheena) Brunson and Ivan Brunson; six nieces; nine nephews; seven great nieces; and four great nephews; as well as a host of cousins, other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom will dearly miss her, but rejoice that she is now reigning with the Lord.
