Kenneth Bracey Obituary

Mr. Kenneth Bracey was born on November 1, 1950, in Columbia, SC. He was the son of the late Henry Bracey and Gracie Bracey. He departed his life on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at White Oak Manor.

Kenneth was educated in the public school system attending Booker T. Washington. After high school he entered the U.S. Marine Corps. He received an honorable discharge after serving his country. He was employed at Consolidation Systems as a welder for 25 years, and later worked for the City of Columbia, and security office for American Security. He favorite hobby was fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry, and Gracie Bracey; two brothers, Joe and Bobby Bracey and his great-granddaughter, Bailey Simmons.

Mr. Kenneth Bracey leaves to mourn his passing his loving family, his wife, Janice Bracey, sons, Benjamin (Terrie) Gilmore, Carlos Bracey, Dexter Bracey; daughter, Alicia Bennet all of Columbia, SC; sisters, Mary Bracey and  Rebecca (Greg) Bracey; brother, Lee (Ellenore) Bracey of Grand Rapid, Michigan; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, niece, nephews, cousins, great-nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends all of whom will miss him dearly.
