Keena Antonio Reed was born November 29, 1986, the beloved son of Consandra Faye Washington Reed and the late John Wayne Reed. He departed this earthly life on Monday, July 6, 2026, in PRISMA Health Richland Hospital, in Columbia, South Carolina.
Keena grew up in Cayce, South Carolina where he was educated in the Public Schools of Lexington County, graduating from Brookland Cayce High School in the Class of 2006. After graduation he worked multiple jobs, ultimately making a name as an entrepreneur.
Keena loved his family dearly and could always be counted to be there for family and friends, and his special nak of fixing anything,
Though he was taken from us too soon, he has left a legacy of love to all those who loved and knew him.
In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mary E. and Samuel Washington, Jr.; and paternal grandparents, John and Essie Mae Reed and his cousin, Thomas Tyrell Odom.
Those who will forever cherish fond and precious memories of Keena are his loving daughter, Jahzara Reed; twin sons, Kingston and Prinston Tyler; his loving mother, Consandra Faye Reed; brothers, Michael R. (Tina) Washington and Dwayne L. Reed; nephews, Raquan K. Washington and Dylan Reed; special cousins, Johnathan Washington, Richard Odom, Ke’son Washington, and Santana Washington; a close friend who was like a brother, Jared Mack; and a host of loving uncles, aunts, and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom are sadden by his untimely departure and will forever love and miss him.
