Juanita Agnes Hicks-Davis was born on November 19, 1982 to Bernice Scott and Alex McAllister, reared by Matthew Hopkins.
Juanita affectionately known as "Nita a.k.a. Black Goddess" departed this world suddenly and unexpectedly on July 12, 2021. She was so full of life and loved her family dearly. To know her was to love her. "Nita" was the jack of all trades; her work ethic was unmatched. She had a huge heart of gold, always willing and ready to help others anyway she could. She was loving and affectionate to anyone in her presence.
"Nita" held many titles, but her favorite title of them all was "Mom". She loved her children more than anything in this world.
She would light up any room she stepped foot in with her beautiful spirit and smile. "Nita" was the life of the party, a true social butterfly.
She was educated in Richland County Public School Systems, graduating from A. c. Flora High School. She was also a graduate of Fortis College. Juanita was a faithful member of New William Street Baptist Church. She was a member of the Eastern Star Celillus Chapter #480. She also participated in various social clubs. Nita was a valuable employee at Amazon.
Juanita leaves to cherish her memories, her husband Lamonte Davis; her mother Bernice Scott; dad, Matthew Hopkins; father Alex McAllister; four children, Diante Scott, Jakarie Sutton, Samiyah Hicks, Robert Hicks Jr; her children's father, Robert Hicks Sr.; siblings, Matthew Scott, Brandon Tyler, Troy Glymph, Monica Tyler, Shakeita McAllister and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends who will miss her.
