Mr. Jonathan O’Neal Weston affectionately known as “Bigman” was born February 8, 1961 in Columbia, SC. He was the third eldest child of the late Dorothy Delores Bing. He was called home to eternal peace on October 26, 2020.
Bigman attended public school in Richland County School District One. He was employed as a Concrete Finisher for Johnny Gibbs Concrete Company and later resulted to part time duties due to the onset of disability. He was a very passionate handy person and also had skills as an auto mechanic.
Bigman was a “Gentle Giant” who was full of life, laughter and love. He never met a stranger. His laughter filled the air wherever he was present. His love for all things showed through his kind and humble ways.
Bigman was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Delores Bing and Johnny Curry; grandparents, Levion Sr. and Lucille Weston; sister, Sandra Weston Perkins; step-daughter, Sharon Cook; two uncles and five loving cousins.
Jonathan O’Neal Weston leaves to cherish his everlasting loving memories; his sister, Brenda (Heyward Jr.) Mack; his brothers, Gregory Weston and William Bing Jr.; his lifelong partner, Elaine Cook; stepson, Jason Cook; eight aunts, five uncles, four nieces, five nephews and a host of great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
