Johnetta Dansby

Johnetta S. Dansby 64, passed away in her home on Monday, June 25, 2018 in Columbia, SC. Johnetta S. Dansby was born in McCormick, SC on March 29, 1954 to John Henry and Seafie Sibert.

Johnetta S. Dansby graduated from Mansfield Business College, with a Bachelors in Accounting. She started working for Belk’s Department Store in payroll as her first job. Then she worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield in payroll. She had a long enjoyable life and she loved her family.

Johnetta was preceded in death by her son, Stephon D. Sibert, and her parents, John Henry and Seafie Sibert.

Survivors are her caregiver James Lewis, daughter, Margaree Dansby of Columbia, SC, sons, Darius Dansby of Columbia, and Jarell A. Dansby also of Columbia, SC. Her brothers, Sam Sibert of Texas, Leonard and June Sibert of Chicago. Her sisters, Mary Sibert of Greenwood, SC and Sharon Hyman of Columbia, SC. She had 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
