Mr. John Allen Weston was born on October 31, 1954, in Columbia, SC to the late Mary E. Johnson and the late John Higgins. He departed this life on Sunday, July 26, 2020.
John Allen was educated in Richland Count Public Schools. His favorite past time was reading the bible and praying for those he loved. When he greeted friends and family, he always had a big smile. When he said hello he made sure he told you he prayed for you. He truly loved his four siblings and his mother and protected his sisters.
He was predeceased by his parents, Mary E. Johnson and John Higgins, as well as his brother Irvin Weston Sr, and his sisters; Rosa Murphy and Ella Lee Judd.
John Allen leaves to cherish his memories his sister Betty Green of Columbia, SC; his former wife Shirley Weston, His nieces and nephews Danny (Sonny) Weston of Honolulu, Hawaii; William ( Shana) Murphy of Lufkin, TX , Walter Goodwin of Houston, TX, John “ Mickey” Smith, Marie Jeffcoat, Thomas Hennix, and Patricia Murphy all of Columbia.
