John E. Shuler

John E. Shuler was born on May 16, 1945 in Orangeburg SC departed this life on June 14, 2018 at the age of 73, Columbia SC. He joined Andrew Baptist Church at an early age Orangeburg SC. Later in life became a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church on Eastman Street in Columbia SC.

After graduating from High School, he served 4 years in the Air Force, received an Associate Degree in Business Accounting from Columbia College Technical Training School. John also was a member of American Legion. He retired after transitional 41 years of US Postal Services. Enjoyed gardening, yard work, a service provider for GALLS Uniform Company with other DIY activities.

John is survived by his loving wife Eva Shuler; brother Deacon Willie E. Shuler; mother-in-law Ruth Williams; three sons: Syvester (Chelsea Williams) Ladson, SC; John Damon (Tawanda) Shuler Florence, SC; Shelby Shuler Atlanta, GA; two sis-n-laws Ruthie Williams Bronx, NY; Lisa (Randy) Glynn Rowesville, SC; one brother-n-law Anthony Williams (Amelia) Peekskill, NY; three granddaughters; two grandsons; two great grands; a host of many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Affectionately called "Uncle John" was loved by family members and friends. GONE TOO SOON!
