John Thomas McCullough

Mr. John Thomas McCullough, 80, of Columbia South Carolina departed his earthly life on Wednesday August 12, 2020. He was the son of the late Clara McCullough Abraham and James Willis/Houston McCullough. John was Clara’s last living child.

John Thomas McCullough was a painter for many years with Gibbs Painting. He loved his Family, Painting and most of all living Life. John had a passion for fishing!

Mr. McCullough battled Alzheimer’s for 14 years but still loved to laugh and spend time with his family and most of all show love to his Great and Great-Grand Children. He held a special place in all of their hearts but he left a special mark in the heart of his Great Grand Daughter Christal Kershaw. He was her Best Friend!

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Sisters; Jessie Mae Harris and Getrude Harris. Brothers, Reverend Oscar McCullough and Willie Bailey.

Mr. McCullough leaves behind his loving wife of 60 plus years Priscilla A. McCullough; his children John (Vernadine) McCullough,  Janice (Freddie)Foust, Kenneth (Evelyn) McCullough, Vernon( Earlene) McCullough, Angela McCullough-Adams of Columbia ,SC; sister, Franchester Willis of Greenville, SC;  15 grandchildren ; Austin, Jarred, Amanda(Antonio) Muller, Peyton, Keyona (Chris) Kershaw, Quintessia, Kenneth Jr.(Latara), Kennedy, Aden, Justin, Johnathan, Cameron, Vernon Anthesnia (Randy) Wiley; 13 great grandchildren and a host of nieces nephews, family and friends who will all miss him dearly.
