Jessie Kershaw Obituary

Jessie Bell Kershaw was born March 18, 1931 in Columbia, South Carolina. She departed this life Tuesday, February 13,2018 at palmetto Health Baptist. She was deceased by her parents Paige Jacobs and Maybell Kershaw; a uncle Prince Kershaw that raised her and two other siblings; four daughters Delphine Kershaw, Claudette Kershaw, Vivian Kershaw and Linda Cunningham.

Jessie was educated in the public school of Richland County. She worked earlier in life as a housekeeper, but her greatest joy was raising her kids and grandkids. She was a tuff lady, but well loved and respected in her community. She will be dearly missed.

Jessie leaves to cherish precious memories daughter Dalphine Kershaw, two sons; Michael Kershaw and Troy(Beverly) Kershaw  brother, James (Julia) Kershaw, a honorary sister Bernice Docta, eight grandsons: James Kershaw, Joseph Kershaw, Kenneth Flemming, Nick(Feren) Kershaw, Sata Kershaw, Jable(Melissa) Maxwell, Roddrick Watters and Austin Watters; four granddaughters, Cassicpia Kershaw, Shamell Maxwell, Sherrell Maxwell and Shaquanda Maxwell, twenty-six great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, two special niece Deborah Bresley and Alice Kershaw; three special friends Nan Brown, Rosa Parker and Edna Houser.  A host of other loving relatives and dear friends.
