Jeffro Sorey, Jr. Obituary

Jeffro Sorey, Jr. was born June 27, 1958, in Marianna, Florida, the son of  Annie Bell Watts Sorey and the late Jeffro Nix.

Jeffro was educated in the public schools of Florida after which he joined the united States Army and served faithfully for twenty (20) years, after which he received an Honorable Discharge.  He was united in Holy Matrimony to the former Sylvia Wilson, and their union was blessed with forty-one (41) years of love and devotion to each other and the birth of one child. At the time of his departure, he was employed with the US Department of Defense where he had been employed for fifteen (15) years.  Though he is no longer physically with us, his loving and kind spirit will forever live in the hearts of all those who loved and knew him.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Tommy, and Anthony Sorey; and step-grandson, Fahim Khalid.

Those who are cherishing fond and precious memories of Jeffro are his loving and devoted wife, Sylvia Wilson Sorey of the home; his son, Marcus J. (Niama) Sorey of Columbia, SC; grandson, Yasir J.
