Jeffery Myers, Sr.

Jeffery Myers, Sr. was born November 3, 1962, in Columbia, South Carolina, the beloved son of the late Lonnie and Ella Deloris Watson Myers. He peacefully departed this earthly life on Saturday, January 10, 2026, in Columbia, South Carolina.

“Jeff” as he was affectionately called by family and friends, attended the public schools of Richland County. He spent over 30 years working as a machine operator, a career he took great pride in and truly loved.

Above all, Jeff loved his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone in need.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Travis Wright; siblings, Debra Watson, Sonja Taylor, Janice Myers, Gregory Myers and Reginald Myers.

He leaves to cherish fond and precious memories his loving wife, Joyce Bennett Myers; loving children, Paris Wright, and Jeffery (Shante) Myers, Jr., caring  stepsons, Lloyd Bennett, Reginald Bennett, and Jamie Bennett; granddaughters, Abrianna Myers and Jeniyah Myers; great grandson, Prince Jones; caring brother, Christopher Myers; brother-in-law, Rondell Bennett; sisters-in-law, Theresa Lee, Brenda Bennett and Shelbra Bennett; as well as a host of nephews, nieces and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom will forever miss him.

Jeff will be remembered for his kind spirit, unwavering  love for his family, and the lasting impact  he made on all who knew him.
