James Melvin Myers, Jr.

James Melvin Myers, Jr. was born May 22, 1962, in Columbia, South Carolina, the beloved son of the late James Myers, Sr., and Willie Mae Tucker. He departed this life and was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 21, 2025, in Columbia, South Carolina.

James attended the Public Schools of Richland County. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was known for always wanting to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

He was a loving brother, uncle, and friend. Though he is no longer physically with us, he has left a legacy of love to all who loved and knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sisters, Patricia Myers, and Barbara Jean Myers; and nieces, Lavonda and Loteisha Myers.

Those who are cherishing fond and precious memories of James are his loving sister, Lilly Myers of Gadsden, SC; caring brothers, Michael (Nakia) Myers of Hopkins, SC, and Cedric Myers of Gadsden, Sc; and a host of loving nephews, nieces; and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom will dearly miss him.
