Jameka Lorraine Young-Coleman was born January 12, 1979 in Columbia, SC. She was the beloved daughter of the late Jacqueline Yvonne Bodrek and Herbert Talmadge (Angie) Young. She was called home to be with the Lord on September 3, 2021 at Lexington Medical Center.
Jameka attended the public schools of Richland County and graduated from Eau-Claire High School in 1998. She continued her education by receiving her certification in Early Childhood Education.
Jameka was a dedicated and faithful member of The Harvest Church. She loved praising God and spending time with family and friends. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece and friend.
Though physically, she is no longer with us, her loving and kind spirit will forever be apart of the hearts and lives of all those who loved and knew her.
Those who will forever cherish fond and precious memories of Jameka are her loving and devoted husband, Christopher Coleman; a loving son, Isaiah Y. Manigo; a loving sister, Jessica Heyward; a loving brother, Joshua (Trinity) Young ; a step-brother, Ryan H. Bingham; five loving aunts & uncles; father-in law, James Coleman; five brothers-in law and one sister-in law and a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends all of whom join the family in sharing the grief caused by her departure, but rejoice that she is resting with the Lord.
