Jaimey Oniya Mickenzi Green was born on November 21, 2000, to Otisha Joan Mickens and Jamey O. Green. “MeMe” as she was affectionally known, went home to be with the Almighty Father on Monday, November 15, 2021. Jaimey was a graduate of Gray Collegiate Academy. She was the founder of Kardash Kloset by Jaimey K. MeMe was a makeup artist and a nail artist. She was a former Double Dutch participant and a MLK Cheerleader and stepper. She was also a former employee of Teller Performance. Jaimey was a member of Brookland Baptist Church. She lived and enjoyed life to the fullest.
Jaimey was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ernestine C. Green and grandfather, James Thomas Green, Sr.; nephew, Sentell Brooks; aunt, Shonda Shivers and her special friend, Christian “Butta” Watson.
Jaimey is survived by her daughter, Beautiful Tylie Rivers and a daughter-in-love, Asia Brooks; her mother, Otisha Joan Mickens and father, Jamey O. Green; three sisters, Latierria Green, Summer Patterson and Trevea Heyward; two brothers, Demitrius Troy McCants and Jaysiah Patterson; maternal grandmother, Reverend Gwen Daniels Patterson and maternal grandfather, Minister Calvin Shivers (Rosa); two nephews, Greyson Durham and Major Durham; two nieces, Lamiyah and London Green; two maternal uncles, Antonio Daniels (Beneeka) and Otis “Buddy” Daniels; three paternal uncles, James Thomas Green, Jr, Joseph Green and Jeremy Jerome Green; five maternal aunts, Chaka Daniels, Tewonda Shivers Anderson (Charles), Shneek Shivers Morris (Shennard), Caprice Brigman (Ali) and Stacy Shivers Gbadoku (Kodyo); two paternal aunts, Zalander Green and Belinda Green; special friends, Deaundra Myers and Ty Keny and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
