Jacquelyn Green was born June 8, 1952, in Columbia, South Carolina. She was the beloved daughter of the late Andrew and Elizabeth Green. She departed this earthly life to be with the Lord on Monday, May 2, 2022, in Columbia, South Carolina.
“Big Jackie,” as she was affectionately called by family and friends, was educated in the public schools of Richland County. She was employed as a health care professional and retired after many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Jacquelyn was a longtime member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed serving the Lord, cooking, and being a caregiver to her family and others in need. She will be remembered for loving laugh, her genuine spirit, and her warm heart.
Preceding her in death along with her parents are her brothers, Andrew Green, Jr., Theodore Green, and Thomas Green; sisters, Dorothy Green-Williams, Henrietta Green Seabrooks, Beverly Green Parker and Arline Green Murphy.
Those left to cherish her memories are her loving children, Parthenia McFadden, John T. Green, Latoya Green and Betty Walls; her devoted grandchildren, Jessica Green, Candie Green, Tavarius Green, Kimberley Green, J. T. Stevenson, Christina McFadden, Cynthia McFadden, Christopher McFadden, Hope Green, Makai Green and Layla Deshazor; sixteen (16) sweet great-grandchildren; her loving and caring sister, Andrena Fletcher; a host of nephews, nieces, and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom will dearly miss her.
