Jacqueline Yvonne Holloway was born August 11, 1952, in Columbia, South Carolina, the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Flossie Harrison. She peacefully passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Friday, July 24, 2026, in Columbia, South Carolina.
“Jackie” as she was affectionately called by family and friends, attended the public schools in Richland County, later obtaining her welding certificate through Job Corps. Jacqueline was a dedicated employee of Ed Robinson Dry Cleaners from which she retired after thirty-four years of service.
Jackie was a remarkably loving and caring woman who was cherished by everyone who knew her. Following her retirement, she selflessly devoted her days to driving seniors to errands and doctor appointments—acting as a true pioneer of helpful service before modern ridesharing existed.
In her later years, she found love again with her partner, Mr. Eddie Gleaton. Together, they shared a wonderful life filled with laughter, dancing, and a mutual passion for great food.
Though she is no longer physically with us she has left a legacy of love to all those who loved and knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara (Henry) Green; and brothers, Jimmy Brown and Dennis Brown.
She leaves behind precious memories to be cherished by her partner, Eddie Gleaton of Columbia, SC; her daughter, Wanda (Lee) Austin of Irmo, SC; grandson, Justin A. Austin of Prosperity, SC; five great-grandchildren, four great great-grandchildren, son (nephew) Ruby McGill of Columbia, SC, three loving sisters, Diane (Billy) Green, Janie (Dale) Richardson, and Phyllis Harrison, all of Columbia; and a host of special nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom will dearly miss her.
