Mr. Ira English was born on April 21, 1958 in Columbia, South Carolina to the late John Thomas English and Irene Smith English. He departed this life on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at his home after a brief illness.

Mr. English was educated in the public schools of Richland County in South Carolina. Mr. English worked as a construction worker for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother John Thomas English Jr., Odell English, and Timothy English.

Those left to cherish his memories are three sisters: Lizzie (James) Benbow, Clary English, and Audrey English; two brothers: Cornell and Lindell English, all of Columbia, South Carolina; a sister-in-law: Monica English of Atlanta, Georgia. A host of nephews, nieces, other loving relatives and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
