Ida Mae Hollins Glover Hall Obituary

Ida Mae Hollins Glover Hall affectionately known as Peaches was born October 3, 1945, in Columbia, South Carolina, the beloved daughter of James Clarence Hollins, Jr., and Cosette Dubard Hollins. She passed away peacefully on Christmas Day, Thursday, December 25, 2025, at the age of 80, at Lexington Medical Center, in West Columbia, South Carolina while surrounded by family.

Ida Mae was educated in the Richland County Public School System. Peaches was a seamstress by trade.

Ms. Hall loved the Lord and had a generous heart toward others. She was a faithful member of St. John Baptitst Church where she was an active member of the Kimpson/Lewis/Price Family Ministry Unit. She was an amazing mother who loved spending time with family and friends. She gave to those less fortunate and was known for her service in the community.  Ida Mae will be missed by all those whose lives she so lovingly touched.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Clarence Hollins, Jr. and Cosette Dubard Hollins.

She leaves to cherish her memories four children,  Regina Glover (Michael) Smith of Charlotte, NC, Tongela Glover Myers of Columbia, SC, Paula Glover (William) Harris of Davidson, NC, and Medvin (Rocio) Glover of Columbia, SC; nine grandchildren, six step-grandchildren,  eight great grandchildren; siblings, Rubin Cornelius (Anna Margaret) Hollins, Carolyn Hollins Worthy  and Sherman (Yolanda) Hollins;  one aunt,  Mary Dubard Burrell;  and host of other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom will dearly miss her, but rejoice that she is resting with the Lord.
