Helen Suber Fuller

Helen Suber Fuller was born January 12, 1935 in Newberry, SC to Eugene Suber and Lucille Scurry. She was called home to be with her heavenly father on October 14, 2021.

She attended Newberry County Public Schools. Helen was a member of the Women Home Aide Society Lodge #40. During her working years, she worked for Powell Furniture Company on Sumter Street, she was also a Custodial Worker at Olympia Elementary School.

Helen was a member of Zion Pilgrim Baptist Church on Zion Ave.

Helen was a loving and devoted mother, who took care of her family and loved ones. She would have you laughing and spoke what exactly was on her mind, with a lot of fun with a beautiful smile on her face. She loved her family and was very close to her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She loved her great-grandchildren as well.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Mr. Samuel Fuller, Jr; her son, John Arthur Suber; grandson, Christopher John Arthur Fuller; a brother, James Arthur Suber; sisters, Gennie V. Brown, Cora Lee Washington, Elizabeth Hollins James, and Mary E. Johnson.

Helen Suber Fuller leaves to cherish her memories, her four daughters, Mary Helen Fuller, Dorothy Ann Fuller Edmonds, Betty Ann Fuller Higgins and Mary Lee Fuller all of Columbia, SC; her sisters-in law, Eartha Lee Fuller Goodwin, Dorothy A. Morant, Mary (Archie) Washington and Linda (Willie) Johnson all of Columbia, SC; her grandchildren, LaRonda, LaKesha, LaShell, April, Sage, Xavier, LaTed, Willis, Malik, Quetin and Malika; fourteen great-grandchildren and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends whom will miss her dearly.
