Gloria Ann Williamson

Miss Gloria Williamson better known as “GG”; was born on October 14, 1957 in Blackville South Carolina to Annie Laura Joyner-Williamson and James Williamson which preceded her in death.  She departed this earthly life on January 12, 2019 at PRISMA Health Richland (formerly known as Palmetto Richland) in Columbia, South Carolina.

Gloria attended and graduated for Spring Valley High; Columbia, South Carolina in 1976.  She was employed by several restaurants in Columbia before her health declined. She was a resident of Allen Benedict Court for a number of years.

Those left to cherish Miss Gloria Williamson are her son LaForest Williamson of Columbia, South Carolina; a daughter and son-in-law, Joi and Reginald Tyler of Columbia, South Carolina; granddaughter, Kayla Harper of Columbia, South Carolina and other grandchildren; one sister, Sylvia Williamson of Columbia, South Carolina; one brother, Teddy Rogers of Barnwell, South Carolina;  two aunts, Josephine “Berta” Green of Columbia, South Carolina and Mary Williamson of Brooklyn, New York; five uncles, Jasper Joyner of Columbia, South Carolina, Franklyn Williamson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Jacob Williamson and Earle Williamson of Barnwell, South Carolina, Martin Williamson of Manhattan, New York; and a host of other relatives and friends.
