Mr. Gerald Denard Knightner was born August 6, 1988 in Columbia, SC. He was the oldest child of Revona Lashane Knightner and only child of Alan Vernard Suber. He departed this life on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Prisma Health Richland.
Gerald affectionately known as “G-Man” was educated in the public schools of Richland County. He was a construction worker in the Columbia Metro Area. Gerald was a a child of God and loved the Lord. He was loved and still is loved by many.
Gerald was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He had a heart of gold. He was known for his two-step dance. If you needed a laugh, he always had a joke. There was a never a dull moment with Gerald around. He was definitely “The Life Of The Party”. He was a true Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. Gerald was “The Real Grill Master”; he loved to cook on the grill.
Gerald was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Willie Ruth Knightner and Eva Mae (Walter) Suber; aunt, Darlene Greenslade; uncle, Walter Suber, Jr; and his cousins, Cisco V. Knightner, Jr and Joshua Ruffin.
Mr. Gerald Denard Knightner leaves to mourn his passsing, his mother, Revona Knightner (Pamela Headen) of Columbia, SC; his father, Alan (Cora) Suber; his brothers, Stephen Knightner, Benjamin Headen and Clarence Headen; sisters, Angelique Headen, Ben-Tavia Headen and Ben-Jada Headen; his children, Jeremiah S. Knightner, Jordan L. Knightner and Chance D. Knightner; god-parents, Patricia (John “Hollywood”) Amiker; god-sisters, Britney Bowman and Brandi Jones; special cousins, Rickena Knightner, Roteisha Jones and Ocie Anthony; special friend, “Babymama” Neondra Davis; dear friend, Carolyn Bender-Smith and family and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and caring friends all of whom will miss him dearly.
