Obituary
George Williams was born on October 10, 1959 in Boykin. SC to the late Washington Williams Sr. and the late Margaret Bracey. George was the oldest of 7 children, who all grew up in Columbia SC. George completed his education in the Columbia Public School System. George retired from the General Wholesale Company where he was a dedicated employee.
George was blessed with 4 children: Loretta Archie. George Archie. Billie Green, and Tomeka Williams. He was the beloved grandfather to Camille (Shawn) Williams, Larry Howard who proceeded him in death, Danita Howard, Latosha Archie, Marilyn (Tony) Pearson, Neaco (Dominque) Pageant, Amina Williams, Kerrick Williams, and Tiana Williams. He is also survived by three siblings, Lutricia (Willie) Hall, Barbara (Rodrick) Jones and Magnolia (Melvin) Reed; three siblings who proceeded him in death, Washington Williams, Thomas Leroy Williams, and Louise Washington. George was the doting great grandfather to 7 wonderful children and the proud uncle to 11 nieces and nephews (3 who proceeded him in death).
George was a dedicated member of Calvary Holiness Church of God where he will be greatly. In his free time you could find him enjoying his favorite pass-time fishing.
