Geneva Harrison-Wilson was born July 9, 1955 in Columbia, SC to the late Polly Mae and Mack Warner.
She was a graduate of C.A, Johnson High School. She was employed at Columbia Housing Authority and then moved to Hyatt Park Elementary as a custodial worker. She later moved on to LRADAC as a counselor. Geneva was later employed at Dutch Square Mall before becoming a child care worker until her health declined. She enjoyed working with people.
She sung on her church choir then joined the usher board. She was also a missionary. She worked with the noon day service.
Geneva was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Kimberly Harrison; sister, Dessie Mae Hawkins and her brother, Author Mack Warner
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Mr. James Wilson; her son, Samuel (Shawntania) Harrison; two step-daughters, Sedarius Washington and Tiquana Wilson; one grandson, Gabriel Harrison; eleven step-grandchildren, ; one great-grandchild; one sister, Brenda Patterson of Detroit, Michigan; four brothers, James (Dorothy) Warner of Atlanta Georgia, Reginald Warner, James and Mack Williams of Columbia, SC; three sisters-in law, Jackie Colcough, Delorise Colcough and Carolyn Warner; one brother-in law, Walter Colcough, Jr; special aunt, Alberta Holman and a host of nieces, nephews and friends that loved her dearly.
