Frank attended the public schools of Union County. After graduating he attended and graduated from Benedict College. During his matriculation at Benedict, he became a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated.
Frank served our country in the United States Marine Corps. After receiving an Honorable Discharge, he became employed with the South Carolina Department of Mental Health. He was an insurance salesman for many years, and then went on to become a Bails Bondsman for the State of South Carolina serving until his health declined.
Trustee Wilson was an active member of Antioch Baptist Church and his community. During his tenure at Antioch he served as a Trustee, member of the Male Choir, Brotherhood, and on several committees. He also served in the community in many capacities.
Mr. Wilson was a 33rd Degree Mason and a member of the Moore Light Masonic Lodge #468 and the CC Johnson Consistory #136.
In addition to his parents, Frank was also preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Wilson and Dennis Wilson.
Frank is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Janice Wilson; loving daughter, Alexandria Wilson; two devoted sons, Thaddeus Wilson, and Antonio Moorer; eight (8) adoring grandchildren; and three (3) great-grandchildren; one brother, Donnie (Francina) Wilson; and three sisters, Rita Wilson, Pamela Wilson, and Kimberly Wilson; two uncles, Willie Wilson, and Frank Goode; and a host of nephews, nieces, and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom join the family in sharing the grief caused by his departure, but rejoice in his homegoing.
