Frank Etheredge

Frank Etheredge, 69, was born August 13, 1948 in Lexington County to the late Oscar Williams and Hattie Bell Brunson Etheredge.  He was granted his wings and lifted to heaven on Friday morning, May 25, 2018 at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, South Carolina.

Frank was educated in the public schools of Lexington County.  At an early age, he joined St. John CME Church Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina.  He was married to the late Jeanette Kearse-Etheredge.

Frank was employed by the Colony Apartments in Columbia, South Carolina for over 30 years, first in maintenance, but before retiring he was the Commercial Building Manager.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Kearse-Etheredge, parents; two brothers, Arthur Williams Etheredge Sr. and J.B. Etheredge; three sisters: Mallasee Etheredge, Elease Etheredge Adams, and Annase Etheredge, one uncle, three aunts, and six sisters-in-law. 

Frank leaves to cherish his beautiful memories three loving daughters: Christina Kearse, Yawtikki Bethel of Columbia, South Carolina; Albertta Smith of the home; four brothers Willie Roye Etheredge, Sr and Johnnie C (Janice) Etheredge of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina; Tommie L. (Betty Jo) Etheredge of Ridge Springs, South Carolina, and Jimmie L. Etheredge of Wichita, Kansas; one sister Mary Ruth Etheredge of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina; three brothers-in-law James (Beatrice) Kearse of Columbia, South Carolina, Henry James Kearse of Miami, Florida and Wilbert Adams of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina; one sister-in-law Peggy Kearse of Columbia, South Carolina; six grandchildren, one great grandchild, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends and neighbors who will miss him dearly.
