Mrs. Ethel Mae "Cutie Mae" Scott was born to the late Buster and Mamie Lloyd Williams on May 24, 1937 in Columbia, SC and departed this earthly life on Monday evening, October 26, 2020. For all who knew our mother, sister, auntie, grandma, granny, cousin, friend, they cherished a true, honest, down-to-earth, fiesty, and loving woman.
Ethel was educated in the public schools of Richland County, Columbia, SC. She graduated from CA Johnson High School, home of the mighty Green Hornets where she was a cheerleader. She was a loyal and dedicated member of Brookland Baptist Church and a member of the Senior Musical, Charles B Jackson Singers, and Sanctuary choirs.

She was also co-owner of Granny's Restaurant and Pub.
For many years she was a Poll Manager for Richland County. She was an avid bowler for many years. Her team-The Hot Peppers was a force to be reckoned with. She was a "Spades" card shark. Her most dedicated passion besides her family, was cooking. Always in the kitchen, cooking and baking something good. All the family had their own "special" dessert that she baked. She was the go-to for birthdays, holiday celebrations, choir events, and anything that involved her talent.
