Elonda Nicole Anderson Obituary

Elonda Nicole Anderson was born November 12, 1983, the beloved daughter of Eddie Joe Anderson Sr. and Elizabeth Webster Anderson. Surrounded by her loving family, she entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at PRISMA Health Richland Hospital, in Columbia, South Carolina.

“Nikki,” as she was affectionately called by family and friends, was educated in the public schools of Sumter County where she graduated from Lakewood High School in the Class of 2002. She was employed with Emerson Dinning Facility and Duncan Donuts.

Elonda was raised up in Orangehill RUME Church (currently known as Orangehill Independent Methodist Church.) At the time of her departure, she was attending Salem Missionary Baptist Church.

Elonda was an extremely sweet, kindhearted and loving person who always stood up for her family and was given the nickname “Moma” because of her steadfast dedication to those she loved. Though she is no longer physically with us, she has left a legacy of love that will be treasured by all those who loved and knew her.

Those who are cherishing fond and precious memories of Elonda are her two loving sons, Jeremy Jamal Benjamin Jr. and Zamari Jahrell Benjamin, both of Sumter, SC; loving parents, Eddie Joe Anderson Sr. of Wedgefield, SC and Elizabeth Webster Anderson of Sumter, SC; caring  brothers, Erin Jerell Anderson of Sumter, SC, and Eddie Joe (Hiwot) Anderson, Jr. of Columbia, SC; six uncles, a special uncle, Ricardo Webster of Sumter, SC; Raymond Webster of Columbia, SC, Ronald Webster of Sumter, SC, Charlie Anderson, Jr. of Columbia, SC, Ozzie (Gail) Durant of NC, and Jerry Anderson of Wedgefield, SC; seven aunts, two special aunts, Patricia A.
