Elizabeth Ann Hugee

Elizabeth Ann Aspedon Hugee, affectionately known as "Libby", was born on November 4, 1963, in Darlington, South Carolina, and raised in West Columbia, South Carolina. She was the beloved daughter of Gene Aspedon and the late Martha Aspedon. After a courageous health battle, she ascended to eternal glory on Thursday, July 3, 2025, surrounded by her family.

A longtime resident of the Cayce community, Mrs. Hugee graduated from Brooklyn Cayce High School and was employed by Anchor Continental as a machine operator for many years. She devoted herself to providing her children with the best life, selflessly prioritizing their needs above her own. Her remarkable ability to sacrifice, support, forgive, and love has left an indelible void in the lives and hearts of her family.

Though she is no longer physically with us, she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who will be missed by all those who loved and knew her.

In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, David Johnson.

Mrs. Hugee is survived by her loving and supportive husband of 23 years, Moses Hugee of Hopkins, SC; two sons, Robert  (Ladronda) Wright of Columbia, SC, and Jarod (Taila) Wright of Hopkins, SC; one stepson, Patrique Hugee of Columbia, SC; father, Gene Aspedon of Cayce, SC; three sisters, PeeWee Tucker of Darlington, SC, Linda Johnson of Lexington, SC, and Shelby (Mike) Rollinson of Gaston, SC; one brother, John (Melisa) Aspedon of Patrick, SC; and her faithful dogs, Bella and Baxter; along with a host of other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom will deary miss her.
