Eartha L. Hallman Obituary

Eartha Lee Hallman was born November 18, 1931, in Columbia, South Carolina, the beloved daughter of the late Charlie and Marrietta Hallman.  She was called to eternal rest on Friday, February  13, 2026,  in Columbia, South Carolina.

Eartha was educated in the public schools of South Carolina until she had to stop school to work to help her family.  Eartha was employed for forty-six (46) years at Richland Memorial Hospital (now PRISMA Health) where she was a faithful and dedicated worker.

After retirement she attended Turning Pages Literacy Program because she wanted to learn to read better so that she could read and understand her Bible.

Eartha loved reading her Bible, flowers and good old gospel music.  Though she is no longer physically with us, she has left a legacy of love to all those who loved and knew her.

Those who are left to cherish fond and precious memories are her two loving daughters, Latriciah Hallman and Mary Washington; four (4) loving sons, David, Michael, Cleveland and James Hallman, all of Columbia, SC; four grandchildren; seven (7) great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom will dearly miss her, but rejoice that she is now resting with the Lord.
