Earline Woods was born June 22, 1933, the beloved daughter of the late Henry and Carrie Kearse. She departed this life to be with Jehovah on Thursday, July 31, 2025, in West Columbia, South Carolina.
She was affectionately known as “The Fox” and “Mama Nana,” by family. Earline was employed for more than thirty-five years as a dedicated physical therapist assistant at White Oak Manor.
Earline was a dedicated Jehovah’s Witness for more than sixty (60) years, and was currently attending the Gaston, SC Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Though she is no longer physically with us, she has left a legacy of love to all those who loved and knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Isaiah Woods, Sr.; siblings, Flim Kearse, Leroy Kearse (Lottie), George Kearse (Bessie), and Bertha Gregory (James); daughters, Mildred Fowler (Ronald), Barbara Washington, and Delores Rhodes; great-grandson, DaQuan Stokes; nephew, Robert Gregory, Jr.; and son-in-law, Geroge Brown.
Those cherishing fond and precious memories are her loving children, Isaiah (Joan) Woods, Jr., Lorrie Brown, and Sabrina Touray; grandchildren whom she affectionally raised, Robert Gregory, Horatio (aka, “Ray”)Woods, Deonna (Joe, III) Hunter, Sheena Fowler, and Antwan Fowler; sons-in-law, Theo Washington, and Gerald Rhodes; grandchildren, Miwan (Kenyatta) Washington, Kenji Woods, Rodney Freeman, Kip (Fallon) Woods, DeMorrie (Melvin) Evans, aka “Shaun”, Ryan Brown, Tiffany (James) Frederick, Kevin (Alexandra) Brown, Tara Brown, Gregory Brown, Stephen T. Brown, Jahmari Titer, Malik Smith, and Geordan Brown; her special niece, Gracie McCastler; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends, all of whom will dearly miss her.
