Dymond Shantay Nyema Gallman was born February 27, 2000, in Columbia, South Carolina, the beloved daughter of Kelvin Gallman and Stanyatta Harper. On Friday, October 3, 2025, God called his Angel home to be with him.
Dymond was educated in the public schools of Richland County School District One and Two where she was a proud graduate of Blythewood High School, Class of 2018. As a child, Dymond played softball at North Springs Park. She was a member of the Blythewood High Female Basketball team and was a member of the first known Step Team, Xclusive in Columbia, where she excelled as a stepper.
To know Dymond was to love her. She had a heart of gold and a big, beautiful smile that would light up any room she entered. In 2019, Dymond became a mother for the first time, and her life changed forever. Her son, Jabril was the love of her life, and she played no games when it came to him and his care. Dymond was a talented and passionate hair stylist. She was also a certified licensed bartender. In October of 2024, Dymond entered Fortis College to further her education and pursue a certification as a Medical Assistant.
Dymond was a loving mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and friend. Though she was taken from us too soon, she has left a legacy of love, joy, and kindness to all those who loved and knew her.
Dymond was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Inga Harper Huiett; and aunt, Yolanda Harper.
