Donlin Curtis Murphy was born September 2, 1957 in Winnsboro, South Carolina to the late Ella L. Roseboro Murphy and Curtis Murphy. He departed this earthly life on September 24, 2021.
Donlin was a kind and caring person. He was known for his sense of humor and infectious laugh! Donlin had a “green thumb”. His home, inside and outside, was surrounded with beautiful plants that he grew. Donlin also had a special love for animals.
Donlin was one of the first group of people supported into Babcock Center. He was a member of the Babcock Center Family for many years. During his time with Babcock, he was employed in the Ground and Maintenance Division. He was a dedicated, hardworking employee on the crew.
Donlin touched the lives of many and will be truly missed by those that knew him. He is preceded in death by his mother, Ella L. Roseboro Gladden and his brother Anithy U. Roseboro. Donlin had many people that he touch the lives of. Donlin will be missed by his friend of many years; Archie Fuller. Many people in his neighborhood loved him. Donlin had a special neighbor Sonya Dickey whom he visited frequently. He spent many holidays with his neighbors and became a member of their extended family.
