Deacon Willie Foster Robinson was born April 3, 1950, in Montgomery, Alabama, the son of the late Foster Robinson and Milissa Alexander Robinson. He departed this life to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
“Robbie” as he was affectionately called by family and friends was educated in the public schools of Alabama. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and served his country for twenty+ years before retiring and receiving with an Honorable Discharge. During his service time he received many awards and accommodations including: the AF Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, and the National Defense Service Medal w/Bronze star, to name a few. Upon retiring, he continued his education at Alabama State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business.
Willie loved the Lord and was a dedicated and faithful member of School of Deliverance Church where he was a founding member and served as Deacon.
Willie was a visionary and was the owner of a Boutique that he built from the ground up. During his spare time, Willie was an avid golfer and enjoyed golfing. A lover of the game he was a member of Crystal Lakes Country Club where he taught youth how to play and appreciate the game of golf.
He was a loving and devoted man of God who was a giver never asking for anything in return. He has left a legacy of love, giving and his love for God to all who loved and knew him.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Susie Robinson; and his sons, Kevin Robinson and Cory Robinson.
Those who are cherishing fond and precious memories of Deacon Robinson are his loving and devoted wife, Mary Robinson; his devoted sons, Keith, Cory and Eric; his loving brother, Jerome Robinson; brothers-in-law, Raynard Larry and Carl Larry; sister-in-law, Ernestine Robinson and a host of nephews, nieces and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom will dearly miss him, but rejoice that he is now with the Lord.
