Dante Joseph Turner, Sr., was born on November 2, 1975, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina to Jerome Turner, Sr., and Betty Lenora Clark Turner. He left us on Monday, December 22, 2025, in Columbia, South Carolina.
Dante was educated in Pemberton Township Schools in Pemberton, NJ. He attended Brookdale Community College and received a degree in Culinary Arts. He worked as an Executive Chef for Morrison Health Care for the last 31 years. He was awarded many distinctions for his culinary skills, but his most cherished awards were the compliments from those he was honored to feed. Dante was a follower and believer in Christ. He attended Fountain of Living Waters Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was an avid fisherman, Blackjack enthusiast, firearms enthusiast, family comedian, and food connoisseur.
Dante was preceded in death by his father, Jerome Turner, Sr. on December 24, 2013.
He is survived by his wife, Eboni Turner; mother, Betty Turner; children, Dante Turner, Jr., Devin Turner, Jazlynn Turner, Dilyn Turner, Daquan Webb, Fabianna Simmons, and Xzabian Simmons; brothers, Anthony D. Turner, Jerome (Melissa) Turner. Jr., and Jackson Turner; sisters, Yolanda Turner and Jeanna Honoré; nieces and nephews, Malik Wadley, Charne (GeeGee) Greene, Gianni Turner, Tiara Mack, Tariq (Michelle) Mack, Deanna Robinson, Ty Robinson, Jayla Turner; mother-in law Juanita (Jerry) Richardson, sisters-in-law, D'Andrea (Brandon) Ford and Camira (Shawn) Murray; extended family and cherished loved ones to include, Anthony Simpson, Angie Simpson, Richard Gesualdi, and Michael Gesualdi.
