Mr. Daniel Darby, 70, affectionately known as “Moto” was born on September 19, 1949, in Columbia, South Carolina. He was the beloved son of the late Mr. Ernest & Mary Wages Darby.
Daniel resided at Midlands Health and Rehabilitation Center in Columbia, South Carolina where he was well-loved and taken care of. Mr. Darby was educated in the public schools of Richland County School District One. After school, he went on to be employed in the construction industry. Daniel was a member of the City of Truth Ministry.
Mr. Darby was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Clifton Darby and Calvin Darby, and sister, Mrs. Barbara Wise.
Daniel leaves to cherish his precious memories, Mrs. Lula Mae Veal of Columbia, South Carolina, Mr. Ernest Darby, Jr. (Janie) of North Carolina, Mr. Thomas Lee Darby, Sr. (Lillian) of Columbia, South Carolina; sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary F. Darby; Godmother, Mrs. Merlene Gray; and a host of nieces nephews, and special family members.
