Cynthia K. Harmon Obituary

Cynthia K. Harmon, the beloved daughter of Delphine (Melvin) Corbitt, was born on July 26, 1974, in Columbia, South Carolina. Cynthia entered eternal rest on Monday, September 8, 2025, in the comfort of her daughter’s home surrounded by her loving children.

“Tina” as she was affectionately called, attended the public schools in Richland County where she graduated from W. J. Kennan High School in Columbia, South Carolina. After graduation she went on to work as a cook at several business in the Columbia area.

She was a lifelong member of Zion Chapel Baptist Church #1.

“Tina” was more than just an average woman, more than just another person in the world, she was an amazing daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, cousin, and loyal and trusting friend to those around her. We will always remember her as putting family first, “keeping it real,” her kindness, and her always beating the odds. She was truly a strong woman and will be deeply missed.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her grandfather, Arthur Rearden.

Cynthia leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving and devoted children, RayShannon (David Manaiza Sr.) Maxwell, Shammika Harmon, Raymond Harmon, RayShide Maxwell, Maya Maxwell and Raymond Maxwell III;  two granddaughters, KieSharia Glover and Chrishaunna Glover; eight grandsons, DaMarion Harmon, Jermaine Davis, Chrishaun Glover, VyShaun Glover, Makai Matthews, Makel Matthews, Jayden Manaiza and David Manaiza Jr.; mother, Delphine (Melvin) Corbitt; grandmother, Mary Ann Rearden; aunt, Dr. Preshious (Moses Kasembeli) Rearden; five uncles, Dwayne Harmon, Terry Harmon, Antron Rearden, Charlie (Ethel) Harmon and Andra (Roberta) Harmon; stepdaughter, Santana Livingston; special friend, Raymond Maxwell Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, all of whom will dearly miss her.
