Cynthia Bright Taylor was born on December 21, 1961, to Mr. Silas and Mrs. Hattie Thompson Bright in Columbia, SC. She matriculated through Richland School District One, graduating from C. A. Johnson High School in 1980. After graduating, Mrs. Taylor attended Midlands Technical College, where she studied business and accounting. She then worked for several companies, including the IRS Office, Seibels Bruce Insurance Company, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Columbia.
Mrs. Taylor leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband, William; children: Shannon (Johncia), Shamar, Shardae, Blake (Tina), and Frances; her parents, Silas and Hattie Bright; siblings: Debra (Calvin), Wesley (Angie), and Sandra. She also leaves her siblings-in-law, Barbara, Dwana, Cedric, and Winyah; 13 grandchildren, and a host of loving family members and friends.
