Crystal Arlene Anderson was born September 7, 1968, in Baltimore, Maryland, the beloved daughter of the late Samuel and Maggie Mae Robinson Scott. She departed this earthly life at 7:00 in the evening on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
“Lene,” as she was affectionately call by family and friends, was educated in the public schools of Baltimore. Upon relocating to South Carolina, she was employed in the restaurant industry for many years until her health declined.
Crystal was a dedicated and hard worker, very strong willed, and an independent woman. She was also very giving, caring, always doing things for others, not asking for anything in return.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who had a kind heart and a beautiful spirit. Though she is no longer physically with us, her loving and kind spirit will forever live in the hearts and lives of all those who loved and knew her.
In addition to her parents, Crystal was also preceded in death by her sisters, Annett Thompson, Charlene Showell and Kimberly Hardrick.
Those who are cherishing fond and precious memories of Chrystal are her loving children, Niketa Scott, James Scott and Jordan Brown; two grandchildren, Derrick Scott and James Scott; loving sisters, Jacqueline (Ulysses) Savage, and Cheryl Jackson; caring brothers, Thomas Mitchell, William (Rhonda) Mitchell and Rodney (Rita) Robinson; a host of nephews, nieces, and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom will dearly miss her.
