Crispin Joseph Johnson

Crisipin Joseph Johnson was born July 1, 1965, in Columbia, South Carolina.  He was the beloved son of the late Joseph and Ruby Johnson.  He was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 30, 2022, in Columbia, South Carolina.  

Crispin attended the public schools of Richland County and graduated from C. A. Johnson High School.  He was employed with S & P Housing where he worked for many years along with his Father in the house relocation business.  He was later employed in the  field he loved the most as an auto mechanic, specializing the area of rebuilding transmissions. When he was working on a car, he was truly in his element where he found great fulfilment.   

Crispin was a loving father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend.  Though he is no longer physically with us, his loving and kind spirit will forever live in the hearts of all who loved and knew him.

Mr. Johnson was also preceded in death by his uncle, Zach Johnson.

Those who will forever cherish fond and precious memories of Crisipin are his daughter, Tasha (Vashaun) Holmes; and his son, Joseph K. Goundy; sisters, Phyliss M. Quattlebaum, and Stephanie (Jessie) Sterns; his brother, Glenn (Kimberly) Johnson; nieces, Kimberlee Jones, Tamara Peterson, Adrina Patterson, and  Glentae Johnson, nephew, Patrick Livingston; great niece, Ny’Aisha Lovingston; Aunts, Mary (James) Brown, and Mary Alice Johnson; uncle, John T. Quattlebaum; a host of cousins, and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom join the family in sharing the grief caused by his untimely departure.
