Chevanique Williams, a long-lived resident of Columbia, SC was born on July 14, 1971 at Richland Memorial Hospital to Elivian Myers and Susan Henderson and passed away unexpectedly on September 2, 2020 at Lexington Medical Center.
Chevanique attended Sarah Nance Elementary, C.A. Johnson High School, and graduated from Job Corps U.S. Department of Labor. She was employed at the SC State Fair Grounds until she took on the job of being a caregiver, that she knew she was called to be.
Chevanique was a devoted mother and enjoyed being a caregiver. She relocated to Georgia but always knew Columbia, SC would always be home. She wanted nothing but the best for her family and friends and wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
Chevanique is survived by her children, Quantina Moultrie, Lashawn, Willie Tucker, Malcom Miller, Quandre Myers, Nakhia Jackson and Danielle Simmons; grandchildren, Miracle Jackson, Atom, London, Aubre, Albany, Azarach, Heaven, De’Angel; brothers, Aree Henderson and Benjamin Henderson; aunts, Ella Ruth, and Mildred Felder.
Chevanique later met wonderful people that impacted her life and made her the great spirited person she was (Daryl Williams, Josey James, Christian Moultrie and Brenda Rosemary). She will be missed dearly by other relatives and friends.
