Mr. Charles Jones was born on June 19, 1951 in Columbia, SC. He was the son of the late Shelley Green and Ms. Geraldine Jones. On Saturday May 15, 2021, he departed this earthly life.

Charles was educated in the public school system of Richland County and was a graduate of Columbia High School Class of 73. He was employed by Reco U.S.A. He retired in 2013 after 20 years of service. 

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Patricia Brown-Whitmore and Brenda Jones Johnson and a brother, Coley E. Jones.

Charles memory and legacy will be perpetuated through his life partner, Ivy Kelly; 10 children, Marcus (Jaimie) Singleton, Marlena (Tonda) Scott, Eboney Rhodes, Shameika Kelly, Travis Simmons, LaMark Berry, Nikea Berry, LaKeisha Kelly, Charles Kelly and Destinee Jones; sister, Yvonne (Edward) Cohen; brothers, Eddie, Willie and Leon (Tara) Jones; twenty-one grandchildren; seven brothers-in law; three sisters-in law and a host of nieces, nephews and many loving relatives and caring friends whom will miss him dearly.
