Caroline Elizabeth Middleton

Caroline Elizabeth Middleton, affectionately known as "Caroline", entered this life on January 27, 1955. She was the third of four daughters born to Ruth Smith. On January 18, 2021 the Lord received her unto Himself.

Caroline accepted Christ as her Lord at an early age. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church College Place. She lived a quiet and peaceful life, loved her husband, her children, her family and faithfully served her neighbors.

Caroline attended Richland One Schools in her youth. Before being medically retired, she held positions at Kathwood Nursing Home and The Lutheran Theological Seminary

Caroline lived a full life. If you were lucky enough to know her and be greeted by her smile, then you were able to experience a friendship and relationship with no bounds. She made friends at her every stop and was able to touch all she met with her integrity and humor.

She was preceded in death by her mother Ruth Smith and a sister Brenda LeSure.

Mrs. Caroline Elizabeth Middleton leaves to mourn her loving and devoted husband of 48 years, Herman Middleton Jr; two sons, Herman Middleton Ill (LeConte') and Paul Willis Middleton; two sisters, Dorothy Howell (Henry) of Columbia, SC; and Mary Davis (Herbert) of Jersey City, NJ; four grandchildren, Exavia, Jaeden, Jaelah and Kailee; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other loving relatives. Her memory will be cherished by many and she will be missed dearly.
