Baby Boy Malcolm Khalil Dean Myers Obituary

Malcolm Khalil Dean Myers was born on May 12, 2021 to Dennis Richardson and Jaleesa Myers. Although it was a rainy day, his birth brought light to those surrounding him. Malcolm came into this world breathing on his own and even blew bubbles (kisses) at his mom and dad before being placed in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. He stayed there receiving care before entering Jannah (Heaven) on June 3, 2021.

Malcolm loved listening to books being read by his mother at his bedside. Welcome to the Party, Goodnight Moon and Where the Wild Things Are were a favorite. He also had a strong grip and often grabbed his father's hand with such force that he was given the nickname 'Mighty Malcolm.' There was no doubt that Malcolm was a fighter and whoever was around him immediately fell in love with his grace.

He is survived by family members, which include a great-grandmother (Marjorie, Cambria Heights - NY), grandparents (Michael and Carla - Conyers, GA), Aunts (Wanda - Roosevelt, NY; Sharon - Freeport, NY; Janise and Jennifer - both of Harlem, NY) and Uncles (Rick - Roosevelt, NY and John - Long Island, NY). He is also surrounded by a village of great-great aunts and uncles, great-aunts and uncles and 1st and 2nd cousins.

He was loved by many and in his time on earth brought so many people together. Although no words can provide comfort to feelings of grief, Malcolm is a reminder that our faith must be stronger than our fears by any means necessary.
