Ashley Marie Leonard

Ashley Marie Leonard was born July 30, 1987, in Sumter, South Carolina, the beloved daughter of Ray and Joyce Singleton Leonard. She departed this earthly life on Monday, June 9, 2025.

Ashley was educated in the public schools of Sumter County and was a 2007 graduate of Lakewood High School.

If you knew Ashley, you knew that she had certain things she enjoyed. Ashley loved jokes, laughing, singing, and talking a lot of trash. She enjoyed her life with her children and her family and friends.

Though she is no longer physically with us, her loving and kind spirit will forever live in the hearts and lives of all those who loved and knew her.

Ashley was preceded in death by her grandparents, Thelma Dargon Singleton, Shiley Leonard Black, Fred Singleton, Sr. and Abe Black, Sr.; aunts, Cynthia Black, Joanne Black, and Carolyn Rhinehart; uncle, Fred Singleton, Jr.

Those who are cherishing fond and precious memories of Ashley are her daughters, Ashanti Rose, and Ramiyah Young; sons, DeVonta Rose, Dykeem Rose, Kyshawn Leonard and Rykel Young; her parents, Ray and Joyce Singleton Leonard; stepfather, Butch; and siblings, Cynthia (Terry) Singleton, Raysteen Leonard, Ray Leonard, Felicia Leonard, Cyron Leonard, Cheryl  (Daryl)  Leonard, Sabrina (Major) Leonard, Latoya Leonard, Jarvis Leonard, all of Sumter, SC; aunts, Del (Sam) Abrams, Brenda Singleton, Stephine Black; uncles, Micheal (Sandra) Singleton, Frazier Singleton, Tony Leonard, Abe Black, Jr.; special friend, Robert Young; best friend, Brittany Blanding; special cousin, LaVonda Singleton, daughter-in-law, Mylaisia Diggs; a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom will dearly miss her.
