Ashantae Unique Glenn entered the world on January 21, 2010, in Columbia, South Carolina. On Saturday, May 28, 2022, God called her home to reign with the angels in heaven.
“Shantae” as she was affectionately called by family and friends, attended Cora Spencer Elementary School in Grand Prairie, Texas. She enjoyed playing on her tablet, playing dress up with her “Baby Alive” Dolls, singing, dancing with her sisters and cooking with her mother. Ashantae was extremely helpful around the house and enjoyed helping in any way she could. Shantae had a beautiful loving soul; everyone who encountered her always left with joy and laughter in their hearts. She has left a legacy of love to all who came into her presence.
Those who are waiting for Ashantae in heaven are her maternal grandmother, Andrena Wise; her great-grandmother, Katie Mae Kennedy Wise; her paternal grandfather, Howard Williams; paternal great-grandmother, Lula Mae Wise; and her aunt, Inga Cleveland.
Those who will forever cherish her precious memories are her loving and caring mother and bonus father, Shawnetta Shawntae (Barkee) Faust; her loving sisters, Agnes Glenn, Samadiya Glenn, Shaniyah Glenn and Jaliyah Herring, all of Columbia, SC; her half-sister, NaTavis Taylor of Columbia, SC; and her half-brother, Travis Taylor, Jr. of Gaston, SC; her grandfather, Lynwood Carson, Jr.; great-grandfather, George Wise; grandmothers, Elaine Faust and Wanda Cleveland; uncles, Brandon Wise, Carlos (Isabell) Faust; aunts, Ebony Taylor and Winona Taylor; great-uncles, Bruce Wise, John Wise, and Johnathan Wise; great-aunt, Valerie (Bernard) Barber; her loving god mother, Shanta Smith; and god grandma, Crystal White; a host of cousins, and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom will miss her dearly, but rejoice that she is now with the Lord.
