Arthur Telford

Arthur Vernon Telford was born April 24, 1963, in Columbia, South Carolina, the beloved son of the late Arthur Miller Telford and Bettie Mae Simon Telford.  He departed this earthly life at the age of sixty-two, on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at MUSC Health Hospice Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina.

Affectionately called “Duck” by family and friends, Arthur was educated in the public schools of Richland School District One where he graduated from Eau Claire High School in the Class of 1981.

Arthur worked with his father as a septic tank plumbing and drain line technician.  He was also employed with the Pepsi Bottling Group in Columbia for several years, and later worked as a stucco finisher exterior, insulator, and interior/exterior finisher and drywaller.

Though he is no longer physically with us, Arthur has left a legacy of love and friendship to all who knew him.

Those who are cherishing fond and precious memories of Arthur are his only son, Vernon Terrell Harrison; grandson, Kenion Teron Hearn; brothers, Anthony, Timothy and Nathan Telford; several sisters-in-law; aunts, uncles, a host of nephews, nieces and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom will dearly miss him.
