Ariel L. McCaskill

Ariel Coralee McCaskill was born on January 4, 1940 in Lee County to the late Adline Haggins and Will McCaskill. She departed this life on June 21, 2021 at home with her family by her side.

She attended schools in Lee County and enjoyed the food service industry in which she served and retired in.

Ariel attended St. Matthews Baptist Church in Lee County. She had a green thumb when is came to caring for her plants. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and would let you have it if she felt like it.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Peggie Sweeterburg, Alveda McCaskill and Callie Johnson; brother, James Haggins; daughter, Barbara Haggins and a great-granddaughter, Loghan Coller.  

She is survived by her two sons, Robert and Donald Haggins; three grandchildren, Shamia Martin, Robert Fogle and Kysha Fogle; four great-grandchildren, De’Quan Henderson, Joel Henderson, Tracey Cunningham and Caleb Henderson; three brothers, Douglas Haggins, Johnny Haggins and Willie Haggins; two sisters, Wilene Haggins and Linda Haggins and a host of nieces and nephews whom she enjoyed spending time with.
